 VISAKHAPATNAM: Even as the people of Seemandhra rally to keep the state united, the stars may have something else in store. If astrologers are to be believed, bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh is inevitable and Telangana will become the 29th state of the country in 2014.

According to Ravviji, the alignment of the stars was not right when Andhra Pradesh was carved out of Madras Presidency. "It was Navami by tithi and Krishna Paksha on October 1, 1953, which was an inauspicious period. Because of this, Andhra Pradesh is presently passing through Kuja Mahadasa, which causes protests, fights between groups, differences among people's ideologies etc," he explains.

Agreeing with Ravvji, PV Radhakrishna of Sri Medha Dakshina Murthy Jyothisha Nilayam at Chodavaram in Visakhapatnam district said that Telangana state would be formed after the general elections in 2014 and the current protests or differences among the people of the state would continue till the completion of general elections, but because of the shadow of 'Maalika Yogam' on the state.

Maalika Yogam is formed when all the planets are placed in seven Raasis. "Maalika Yogam has a good or bad effect, depending on the birth timing of a person or an entity, in this case the state of Andhra Pradesh.
